Rhythmshala and Music Horn Join Hands for a Unique Rhythm Circle in Association with Global Confederation of NGOs
In a heartwarming and powerful initiative, Rhythmshala has joined hands with Music Horn, in collaboration with the Global Confederation of NGOs, to create an inclusive Rhythm Circle that celebrates life, art, and togetherness through the universal language of music.
This initiative is set to unfold in Delhi NCR as its first phase, bringing together privileged and underprivileged artists from all walks of life — school children, college youth, professionals, and passionate individuals — into a circle that resonates with harmony, collaboration, and empowerment.
We sat down with the co-founders and core team members to understand the thought behind this musical movement.

Q: What inspired Rhythmshala and Music Horn to collaborate on this Rhythm Circle initiative?
Rhythmshala :
“We believe rhythm has the power to unify. Music is not bound by language, class, or profession — it’s a pure connection to the soul. The idea of forming a rhythm circle was born from the desire to create a space where everyone, regardless of their background, could express, heal, and celebrate life together through instrumental music.”
Music Horn :
“We’ve always believed that music is for everyone — not just performers or professionals. This collaboration allows us to bring rhythm to communities, especially those who may never have had the opportunity to experience or create music in a structured form.”

Q: What makes this Rhythm Circle unique?
Rhythmshala :
“What’s unique is the inclusive and participative nature. We’re not putting artists on a stage — we’re bringing them into a circle. Everyone has a voice, a beat, a rhythm. Children from government schools, working professionals, homemakers, students from elite institutions — all sit together and play in unison. It’s a space where labels disappear, and rhythm takes over.”

Q: How is the Global Confederation of NGOs supporting this cause?
GCN Representative:
“This project aligns with our vision to bridge social gaps and provide equal opportunities. We’re facilitating the outreach, connecting underprivileged communities with this platform, and also helping identify local talents who can be nurtured through mentorship and exposure.”

Q: Why drumming? Why rhythm?
Music Horn :
“Drumming is one of the most ancient forms of communication. It synchronizes the body and mind, improves coordination, and helps in releasing stress. Group drumming, in particular, builds community spirit, boosts confidence, and enhances social bonding. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s also a form of therapy.”
Rhythmshala :
“Understanding rhythm is like understanding life — it teaches patience, timing, listening, responding, and creating space for others. These are life skills, and through this initiative, we’re embedding them in people without any formal preaching — just through play.”

Q: What’s the long-term vision of this collaboration?
Rhythmshala & Music Horn (Joint Statement):
“We envision building Rhythm Circles across India, starting from Delhi NCR. Our dream is to take this inclusive musical movement to schools, jails, corporates, orphanages, elderly homes, and community centers — places where rhythm can bring healing, joy, and connection.”

Q: How can individuals or organizations join the movement?
“Anyone who believes in the power of music and rhythm is welcome. You can support as a volunteer, sponsor instruments for a group, attend a session, or even become a rhythm facilitator after training. Our goal is to create a community where music is not a luxury but a right.”
