In today’s fast-paced, urban lifestyle, we leave no stone unturned in providing the best education to our children and ensuring their comfort and security in well-facilitated housing societies. However, when it comes to nurturing their sense of responsibility towards society and nature, we often assume it’s someone else’s duty. This mindset not only detaches our children from their moral responsibilities but also deprives them of the opportunity to connect with the world that sustains them.
The Green Buddy Campaign aims to bridge this critical gap by instilling gratitude and responsibility towards nature in our younger generation. It is not just an environmental initiative but a value-based movement where children are encouraged to become Nature Protectors — planting trees, saving water, caring for animals, keeping parks clean, and reducing plastic use.

The core philosophy behind this campaign is simple yet powerful —
“If a child can enjoy the benefits of a clean environment, they can also learn to protect and preserve it.”
This transformation is already visible in several residential societies across Faridabad and beyond, where children, during their summer vacations, have voluntarily taken charge of their local parks — sweeping, watering plants, managing waste, and educating others. These young heroes are not driven by rewards but by a sense of belonging and duty.

A Collective Commitment for a Greener Tomorrow
The Green Buddy Campaign is now being expanded with the support of Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), local community leaders, and dedicated institutions. We are proud to have the PHE Education Trust and the Global Confederation of NGOs as key partners in scaling this movement to a larger platform.
Together, we are creating a network of eco-conscious children and families who treat nature not as a resource, but as a relationship.
Recognizing Grassroots Heroes
To encourage these efforts, the best initiatives and outstanding young Green Buddies will be recognized and rewarded under the campaign. Photographs, stories, and videos of these child-led nature activities will be featured across social platforms and published in the upcoming editions of Achievers Talk, serving as inspiration for many more communities.

Join the Movement
Let’s raise children who not only score high grades but also grow into sensitive, responsible, and grateful citizens of the planet. The Green Buddy Campaign welcomes all schools, societies, RWAs, and social organisations to be a part of this evolving green revolution.
Together, let’s build a cleaner, greener, and more conscious India.
“When a child connects with nature, they connect with life.”
