NEW DELHI — In a milestone moment for India’s environmental movement, Achievers Talk, hosted by Ankur Sharan, has joined hands with the “Garbageologist of India,” Shri Praveen Nayak, to launch The Nayak Show. This collaborative broadcast initiative is designed to trigger a national “Kachre se Kranti” (Garbage Revolution) by shifting the spotlight away from conventional celebrities and onto the everyday citizens keeping India clean and green.
Empowering the Real Architects of Change
At its heart, The Nayak Show is a deeply meaningful endeavor to give voice, dignity, and a national platform to real-life, unsung eco-warriors. Instead of focusing on abstract corporate numbers or standard high-level policy discussions, the program captures the human spirit driving local environmental change.
The initiative offers moving glimpses into the lives of:
- Dignified Waste Workers: Transforming marginalized, informal ragpickers into recognized, organized green entrepreneurs who form the true frontline defense of our cities.
- Community Innovators: Highlighting local women’s groups and resident welfare champions who successfully run decentralized, zero-waste neighborhoods modeled after Nayak’s acclaimed Ambikapur Swachhata Model.
- Grassroots Startups: Giving a platform to young minds turning single-use plastics into durable construction materials or organic waste into premium compost.
The true heroes of Bharat are those who handle what the rest of society discards,” stated Host Ankur Sharan during a recent broadcast. “Through this alliance, we are giving a national stage to the hands that actually keep our country clean.”
Bridging Media Power and Policy Expertise
What makes this initiative unique is its ability to turn inspiration into long-term impact. The collaboration perfectly pairs the storytelling reach of Achievers Talk with Shri Praveen Nayak’s vast professional background. As a Director of Garbage Clinic Infratech and a former expert committee member for the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Nayak ensures that the featured heroes receive more than just temporary media attention.
Leveraging his deep institutional connections with organizations like TERI and Amity University, the platform provides these grassroots innovators with real opportunities for technical mentorship, corporate validation, and growth support.
By combining media visibility with scientific expertise, The Nayak Show is successfully transforming waste management from a simple civic duty into a matter of profound national pride. It stands as a powerful testament to the fact that a clean, self-reliant, and green Bharat is being built—one unsung hero at a time.
