After successfully celebrating the 4th edition of the Global Confederation of NGOs event, Achievers Talk, as an esteemed ecosystem partner, had an insightful conversation with the Management Trustees of the Confederation. Here are some key highlights from the interview.

Achievers Talk: Congratulations on yet another successful edition of the event! How does it feel to witness such impactful social organizations being recognized?
Team GCNGO : Thank you! It is truly inspiring to see how NGOs are driving change at the grassroots level. Recognizing 55 outstanding organizations with the Padma Seva Award 2025 is not just an honor for them but also a celebration of their relentless dedication to society. These awards motivate NGOs to continue their exceptional work and encourage more people to contribute to social welfare.

Achievers Talk: This year’s event saw participation from both well-established and emerging NGOs. What was the key factor behind selecting the awardees?

Team GCNGO : The selection process was designed to be transparent and inclusive. We used a digital nomination system through Google Forms, ensuring every NGO had an equal opportunity. The evaluation was based on their impact, sustainability, innovation, and reach in their respective social service domains. This year, we saw remarkable contributions in healthcare, education, environmental conservation, women empowerment, and child welfare.

Achievers Talk: The presence of eminent personalities from various industries made this event even more special. How do such collaborations help NGOs?

Team GCNGO : Collaborations with industry leaders, academicians, and policymakers bridge the gap between the corporate and social sectors. The presence of renowned figures like Dr. N.C. Wadhwa, Mr. Suresh Chandra, Mr. Ajay Gupta, Mr. Vivek Agarwal, and Dr. Deepa Taneja not only adds credibility but also opens doors for NGOs to gain mentorship, funding, and strategic partnerships. Our goal is to create an ecosystem where NGOs can thrive with the right support from corporates and institutions.

Achievers Talk: With four successful editions of this event, what’s next for the Global Confederation of NGOs?
Team GCNGO : Our journey doesn’t stop here. We are planning to expand our reach by organizing regional forums, training workshops, and mentorship programs for NGOs. Additionally, this year, we will celebrate International Volunteer Day in a grand way, focusing on youth participation in social service. We are also exploring digital platforms to connect NGOs globally and foster cross-border collaborations.

Achievers Talk: Lastly, what message would you like to share with aspiring NGOs and volunteers?
Team GCNGO : Social change is a collective effort. Whether you are an established NGO or just starting, every contribution matters. Stay committed to your mission, embrace innovation, and collaborate with like-minded organizations. To all the volunteers—your small acts of kindness create a ripple effect that leads to a better society. Keep going, because together, we can build a more compassionate and sustainable world.
Achievers Talk’s Takeaway:
The Global Confederation of NGOs continues to be a catalyst for social change by recognizing and empowering grassroots organizations. As an ecosystem partner, Achievers Talk takes immense pride in being a part of this journey and looks forward to many more successful collaborations. Stay tuned for updates on the upcoming International Volunteer Day celebrations and other impactful initiatives by the Confederation!
