Achievers Talk proudly presents the inspiring journey of Dr. Ankur Sharan, a name synonymous with visionary leadership in logistics and passionate advocacy in social reform. With over 16 years of diverse experience in the domains of supply chain, procurement, and sustainability, Dr. Sharan is not only a top-tier professional but also a committed change-maker who is shaping India’s future—both on the ground and on policy tables.

A seasoned Supply Chain Strategist, Dr. Sharan has worked with leading automotive firms, Japanese MNCs, and media conglomerates, driving innovation through models like Just-in-Time procurement, EXIM handling, vendor optimization, and warehouse automation. His role in steering pan-India logistics networks during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic was recognized globally, earning him a place in the World Book of Records (London).

He was conferred the Best Supply Chain Professional Award by Cargo Insights (2023) and honored by Indian CSR Awards for his sustainable and community-driven logistics interventions. As a State Jury Member for Road Safety, Dr. Sharan contributes to government policy and public safety awareness through campaigns under Parivahan Vishesh.

But his mission goes far beyond boardrooms. As Co-Founder of Bhartiya Philanthropist with RJ Bhavna Sharma, he has led campaigns to bridge the gap between social responsibility and professional expertise. His flagship initiative, Dr. Logistics, is educating the next generation about the power of logistics to fuel the Indian economy—particularly focusing on empowering youth from Tier 2–3 cities.

As a jury member and active advisor to the Haryana Road Safety Team, he has collaborated with key government stakeholders to implement policy-backed safety measures. Dr. Sharan has also organized multiple on-ground Road Safety Drives in association with Road Safety SquadRoad Safety Omni Foundation, addressing critical issues such as minor driving, helmet use, and traffic discipline.

He regularly writes on transport safety, logistics efficiency, and civic responsibility, and is deeply committed to educating school children, drivers, and citizens about road etiquette. Through structured awareness programs, school partnerships, and community walks, he has reached thousands of people across Faridabad and Gurugram.

Dr. Sharan’s approach bridges the gap between logistical planning and social responsibility, reinforcing the idea that efficient logistics and safe roads go hand in hand in building a progressive and responsible India.

His moral and educational initiative Sanskarshala by Dr. Ankur Sharan has brought value-based education, patriotism, and ethics into the family and school ecosystems. He has also led grassroots environmental campaigns like Paryavaran Paathshala, advocating for plastic-free tourism, rainwater harvesting, and eco-restoration.

In partnership with his daughter Aadya Sharan, he actively supports Mera Ghosla, an award-winning bird conservation initiative offering creative solutions for urban biodiversity. Together, they inspire families and school children to take ownership of nature and wildlife.

Inspired by his father, Late Shri Ajay Shankar Srivastava, a renowned Indian Railways and CONCOR logistician, Dr. Ankur Sharan blends legacy and innovation with humility and purpose. He is also a mentor, speaker at national forums like ProcureConnect Confex 2024, and a jury member for prestigious talent and social impact events, including those hosted by Bank of America.

In his own words,

“India’s journey to becoming a global leader lies in how well we move goods, ideas, and values. Logistics is the heartbeat of that vision—and it must beat with purpose, ethics, and inclusivity.”

As we move toward a self-reliant and sustainable Bharat, Dr. Ankur Sharan stands tall as a leader whose professional brilliance meets profound social responsibility—a true Achiever inspiring a generation to build with heart, discipline, and dedication.
