Faridabad, Sector 14 — The corridors of DAV Public School resonated with the echoes of India’s ancient wisdom as the institution presented its Class V Annual Show on the theme “Vedas – The Ancient Saga”. Under the able leadership of Principal Ms. Anita Gautam and Supervisor Ms. Rajni Ralhan, the programme turned into a cultural and spiritual spectacle that left the audience enriched and inspired.

The event commenced with a graceful music, dance, songs followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting, green welcome, and soulful orchestra, symbolizing purity, harmony, and sustainability. The Vandana dance further set the stage with devotion and energy, creating an atmosphere of reverence.

The highlight of the day was an enchanting ballet on the four Vedas — Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda, and Atharvaveda — creatively portraying the timeless teachings of knowledge, discipline, music, science, and spiritual balance. The performance was not just an artistic presentation but also a profound reminder of India’s cultural legacy and intellectual heritage.

The distinguished presence of Sh. H. L. Bhutani, Sh. Aashu Lal Ji, Sh. Kamlesh Shastri Ji, and Sh. R. P. Hans Ji elevated the celebration. Their reflections, along with the heartfelt words of parents, underlined the need to revive ancient wisdom in modern education. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks and a gratitude prayer, leaving the audience proud of their roots and hopeful for the future.

Through this initiative, DAV Institution once again showcased its commitment to holistic education — blending academics with moral, cultural, and spiritual learning. By introducing young learners to the treasures of the Vedas, DAV ensures that education is not confined to textbooks but extends to building character, values, and a deeper connection with India’s glorious past.

This show stood as a testimony to how heritage-based learning can shape tomorrow’s achievers, inspiring students to carry forward the flame of wisdom while embracing the challenges of the modern world.
