She is associated as a mentor with NIESBUD for the Program Udyam Disha to handhold and Guide aspiring and existing Entrepreneurs from remote locations, Honorary Mentor with MENTORx and also with IID, Incubator on PPP mode under Ministry of MSME, Government of India. She has taken various sessions with live Entrepreneurs on Digital Marketing; Idea Generation; Funding options; Venture Creation to enhance their skills. She is mentoring student start-ups of different areas at University and is a Jury member and invited speaker at various prestigious platforms. She is certified as Entrepreneurship Trained Faculty of Entrepreneurship from DST & NEN (National Entrepreneurship Network) with Honors and also certified by NIESBUD for completing Accreditation Program on Entrepreneurial Motivation Trainers.
She has been recipient of grants for Entrepreneurship, Employability from Rajeev Gandhi Institute for Youth Development, Government of India; AICTE and NIESBUD, Ministry of MSME. She has been a resource person for online portal SWAYAM in areas of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She has been associated with government organizations NSIC, MSME, NIESBUD for taking workshops and sessions for DGR in diverse areas of Retail, Communication, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. She has convened specialized sessions with IIT (D), NIT (Uttrakhand), Tech Bharat Consulting, IIT (BHU), Expert Hub, IIM (A) on Digital Marketing, Six Sigma, Entrepreneurship Development and Retail. She has been a recipient of several prestigious awards for her contribution in the field of academics, Mentorship and Entrepreneurship. She has authored various books and research papers at International and National Journals. Her area of research is in the fields of Entrepreneurship, Consumer Behavior, Sustainability and Marketing.
3 major achievements or inspiring incidents
- Taking the sessions related to Entrepreneurship Development for Samhita CGF x ISB’s Business Fundamentals Program for aspiring & small businesswomen entrepreneurs in rural India from several area of Uttarakhand. Sharing tools and techniques to help them navigate the pressures of entrepreneurship brought immense happiness and purpose. Witnessing their engagement, openness to learning, and determination to apply these practices in their journeys was truly inspiring. Bringing a small Contribution to their prospective growth journey and well-being was a rewarding reminder of the impact small efforts can have in empowering change makers.
Dr. Sharma has been certified as an Entrepreneurship Trained Faculty by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) with honors. She has also completed the Accreditation Program on Entrepreneurial Motivation Trainers by NIESBUD. Her efforts in fostering entrepreneurship have been recognized through grants from esteemed institutions, including the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Youth Development, Government of India; AICTE; and NIESBUD, Ministry of MSME. These grants have supported her efforts in fostering entrepreneurship and enhancing employability skills. Taken multiple workshops and seminars to ignite the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation for students, educators and real time entrepreneurs.
Resource person for 23rd session of “Women for Women”, initiative at Barco India and spoke on “Comprehensive actions to actually empower Women “. The session was highly fulfilling and ended on a lighter note where some of the takers shared their own experience.
