The energy inside Vivekanand Auditorium was electric as Vivekanand Manch hosted Utkarsham – Talent Hunt 2026, bringing together an extraordinary array of student talent spanning singing, dance, acting, and poetry. Among the event’s most celebrated highlights was an immersive guest appearance by Rhythmshala Live, turning a competitive talent showcase into a unifying celebration of rhythm and sound.

During the exclusive Achievers Talk segment following the main performances, Rhythmshala conducted an interactive Community Jam session. Designed to break traditional barriers between performers and the audience, the session provided students with a hands-on experience of how collective drumming and rhythmic expression build community, reduce stress, and foster collaboration.

“Rhythm is a universal language. Watching students step out of their comfort zones to jam together showed the true spirit of youth dynamic,” shared the team during the post-event interaction.”
Key Highlights of the Session
Community Connection: Students actively participated using percussive instruments, discovering how rhythm connects individuals across diverse backgrounds.
Interactive Dialogue: The post-event talk allowed student artists to engage directly, exploring how creative arts enhance mental wellness and leadership skills.
Unmatched Energy: The session concluded with a joint freestyle jam that brought the entire auditorium to its feet.
With huge participation and massive enthusiasm, Utkarsham 2026 not only celebrated individual talent but also demonstrated the power of community arts. Organizers expressed heartfelt gratitude to student coordinators Jagriti, Sukhda, Jiyansh, and Soumil, as well as lead contacts Shivam and Anant, for executing a memorable event that left an indelible mark on the campus community.

Rhythmshala is an initiative founded by Ankur Sharan that leverages community music, drumming, and expressive art circles to foster mental well-being, stress relief, and social connection. It focuses on creating inclusive, engaging spaces—such as community music jamming circles and rhythm workshops—to promote emotional resilience and community bonding across schools, institutions, and public forums.
