The 10-Year-Old ‘Record Girl’ Transforming Lives: Meet Shrishti Gulati
At an age when most children are focused on toys and games, 10-year-old Shrishti Gulati from Faridabad, Haryana, is setting global benchmarks in social service and academia. A resident of Jawahar Colony and a brilliant fifth-grade student at D.C. Model Senior Secondary School (Sector 9, Faridabad), Shrishti has proven that impact is measured by actions, not years.
Known affectionately by titles like “Record Girl,” “Tiranga Girl,” and “Gullak Girl,” Shrishti has seamlessly blended her exceptional academic talent with an unwavering commitment to humanity, making her one of India’s most decorated young changemakers.
Born to Serve: The Spark of Inspiration

Shrishti’s journey into social work is deeply rooted in her upbringing. She didn’t have to look far for role models; her mother, Priya Gulati, is a dedicated educator, and her father, Praveen Gulati, is a regular blood donor. Inspired by their values, Shrishti began her grass-roots community work at the tender age of five.
What started as a childhood desire to help has evolved into a massive, structured effort. Over the years, her contributions to society have been monumental:
Health & Hygiene: Distributed 1,000 face masks during her 5th birthday, followed by 1,700 sanitary pads for women in need and 2,500 baby diapers for infants.
Education & Financial Literacy: Gifted 2,000 stationery kits to slum children and distributed 500 clay piggy banks (gullaks) to teach young kids the value of saving and sustainable materials.
Environmental & Animal Welfare: Planted over 5,100 saplings, gifted 1,100 Holy Basil (Tulsi) plants to her school, and distributed 500 bird water bowls (sakore) to protect wildlife during harsh summers.
Cultural & Seasonal Support: Distributed 501 copies of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, 1,000 copies of the Hanuman Chalisa, 100 warm blankets, and hosted community celebrations like a public Bhai Dooj (2024) and a vibrant community Holi (2025) with underprivileged children.
Patriotism: Handed out over 10,000 National Flags across her city, earning her the title Tiranga Girl.
A Historic Audience at Rashtrapati Bhavan

On August 30, 2023, Shrishti experienced what she calls the most precious moment of her life. On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, she and her family were invited to the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi. Shrishti met with the Honorable President of India, Droupadi Murmu, and tied a Rakhi on her wrist.
The President warmly blessed Shrishti, praising her world records, humanitarian work, and presented her with a special gift, wishing her a bright future in the service of the nation.
Global Recognition and World Records
Shrishti’s wall of achievements is nothing short of breathtaking. She holds the international record for being the youngest person in India and the world to receive an Honorary Causa Doctorate. This incredible feat was registered in the Credence Book of World Records when she was just 7 years old. In October 2023, she was further honored with the Honorary Causa MBR Doctorate by the Magic Book of Record University.
Her relentless participation across cultural, spiritual, and academic competitions has yielded an astonishing tally of accolades:

She has been formally honored by top leadership, including Haryana Governors Bandaru Dattatreya, former CM Manohar Lal Khattar, current CM Nayab Singh Saini, alongside multiple IAS officers, Police Commissioners, and Union Ministers.
Shrishti Gulati is a living testament to the fact that empathy knows no age limit. She continues to be a beacon of hope, proving to the world that true identity is built solely through one’s deeds (Karma).
