Achievers Talk: Transforming Lives Through Nourishment and Hope

Healing requires more than medicine—it requires compassion, community support, and proper nutrition. On August 8, 2026, at Red Cross Bhawan, Sector-12, Faridabad, the District Red Cross Society, in collaboration with Ashriwaad Rasoi, organized a special nutritional distribution drive (Poshabhar Vitran Karyakram) for Tuberculosis (TB) patients. Conducted under the divine blessings of Guru Maharaj Kant Ji and in loving memory of the late Shri Raj Kumar Kochhar Ji and Smt. Avinash Ji, the initiative marked a powerful step forward in the fight against TB.

For patients battling Tuberculosis, rigorous antibiotic treatments demand strength. Yet, many struggle with nutritional deficits that delay recovery. Recognizing this gap, Ashriwaad Rasoi and the Red Cross Society stepped forward to provide monthly high-nutrition food hampers—containing essential proteins, grains, and vitamins—ensuring no patient faces treatment weakened by hunger.

Stories of Resilience: The Achievers of Today

The drive featured an inspiring session titled Achievers Talk, spotlighting individuals who fought TB, strictly adhered to their treatment regimens, maintained essential nutrition, and emerged fully cured.

These survivors shared candid stories of their journeys—recounting the stigma, physical toll, and financial distress they overcame. Their testimonies delivered a vital message to current patients: Tuberculosis is completely curable, provided medicine is paired with adequate nutrition and perseverance. Hearing former patients speak not as victims, but as victors, instilled renewed optimism throughout the hall.

Bridging Community and Policy

Distinguished guests, including Chief Guests Shri Rajiv Kochhar and Smt. Alka Kochhar, alongside Red Cross Secretary Shri Bijendra Sorot, Advocate Pratap Singh, TB Coordinator Ms. Madhu Bhatia, and Program Convener Shri Purushottam Saini, reaffirmed their commitment to supporting patients until complete recovery.

This local initiative directly aligns with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s national vision under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to eliminate TB from India by 2025–2027. By mobilizing community supporters as Ni-kshay Mitras, the movement proves that public-private partnerships can bridge critical nutritional gaps in healthcare.

A Shared Commitment

The event concluded with a clear consensus: eradicating TB demands collective responsibility. Through continuous nutritional support and peer mentorship like Achievers Talk, Ashriwaad Rasoi and the Indian Red Cross Society Faridabad remain dedicated to restoring health, dignity, and hope to every patient on the path to recovery.
